维护电池的小贴士 Tips for maintaining the battery

电池业是世界的重点产业之一，宜兴法阿姆工业电池有限公司由意大利独资生产电池，所生产的电池具有大容量、高功率、长寿命、无污染、安全可靠轻便的特点，在蓄电池的运行中，保护蓄电池的性能是提高蓄电池的使用寿命及可靠性的重点，因此做好蓄电池的维护工作是极其重要的。

The battery industry is one of the key industries in the world and Yixing Faam Industrial Battery Co., Ltd., is a wholly-owned Italian manufacturer of batteries with the characteristics of large capacity, high power, long life, no pollution, safety, reliability and lightness. In operation, protecting the performance of the battery is the key to improving the service life and reliability of the battery, so it is therefore extremely important to perform the necessary maintenance of the battery.

以下是法阿姆为各位尊敬的用户提供的维护我司蓄电池的小建议：

The following are tips that FAAM provides to our esteemed users in order to properly maintain our batteries:

安装使用 Installation and Use

1	使用合适的吊具，使蓄电池平稳安装，防止电池损坏和电解液溅出； Use a suitable spreader to install the battery smoothly in order to prevent battery damage and electrolytes splashing out;
2	使用前检查电池状况，确保其各参数符合要求； Check the battery condition before use to ensure that its parameters meet the requirements;
3	使用时放电量不得超过全部容量的80%。 The discharge amount during use shall not exceed 80% of the full capacity.

电池充电 Battery Charging

1	充电机电流强度必须与电池的充电需求相匹配，充电倍率须达到1.2倍以上，避免严重影响电池的使用时间； The current intensity of the charger must match the charging requirements of the battery, and the charging rate must be more than 1.2 times so as to avoid seriously affecting the battery's service time;
2	每月进行一次均衡充电，适当进行充电，充电不足、过充电、过放电都会影响电池的使用时间及寿命； Carry out balanced charging once a month. Under-charging, & over-charging will affect the service time and life of the battery;
3	在通风、禁止烟火的环境中进行充电，充电过程中打开注液盖，保持注液盖排气孔清洁通畅； Charge in a ventilated and fire-prohibited environment, open the filling cap during charging, and keep the vent hole of the filling cap clean and unobstructed;
4	电池充电及使用过程中，电解液温度不得超过55℃； During battery charging and use, the electrolyte temperature must not exceed 55℃;
5	保持电池表面清洁、干燥，以保证电池的绝缘性好。 Keep the battery surface clean and dry to ensure good insulation of the battery.

电池补水 Battery Replenishment

_	电池使用中电解液会下降，充电完成后及时补充去离子水或者蒸馏水。 As the electrolytes will decrease during battery use, add deionized water or distilled water after charging.

电池储存 Battery Storage

_	蓄电池应存放在5-40℃的清洁、干燥、通风的环境中，避免与任何有害物质接触，不受撞击。 The battery should be stored in a clean, dry, ventilated environment at 5-40℃, avoiding contact with any harmful substances and free from impact.

Today (April 22) is Earth Day. It is a festival specifically established to protect the earth’s environment. It has always been an important platform for people from all over the world to establish a correct view of natural resources and popularize knowledge of earth science. FAAM has always actively participated in the environmental protection movement of Earth Day and recycled its lead-acid batteries, as FAAM was the first company in the European battery industry to obtain the European environmental standard EMAS certification.
